Mini Sunset Dragons Original Artwork

Original 4x6 inch acrylic painting, on 350gsm hot pressed watercolour paper.

This painting is a sister piece to my original Sunset Dragons painting. I loved the concept so much that I wanted to create a smaller painting to sit in a frame. The inspiration for this piece came from a fantasy book I was reading at the time. Some of my favourite parts of a story are the travelling montage, where the characters are travelling for days through the countryside/forest/mountains. I imagined a place I would like to set up for the evening before arriving at our destination the next day. Almost like the last calm evening before the storm.
